Beth Gillespie | Art
Graphic Design, Advanced Degree

  • Beth has been a graphic designer and illustrator for over 20 years with a passion for bringing ideas to life through colour, creativity, and storytelling. When she’s not designing, she loves sharing the joy of art with kids—teaching them to explore their imaginations and express themselves through drawing, painting, and hands-on creativity. Whether she’s working on a book design or leading a kids’ art workshop, her goal is always the same: to inspire and connect through art.

Laura Kolisnyk | Drama
BA

  • Laura is a Winnipeg-based performer, choreographer, director and educator. An honours graduate of the University of Winnipeg theatre department, she performs locally and internationally.

    Specializing in theatre for young audiences, she spent ten years with Koba Entertainment on Broadway and overseas. In Winnipeg, she has performed with Rainbow Stage and The Winnipeg Jewish Theatre, as well as writing, producing and performing Winnipeg Fringe Festival shows.

    In addition to voicing many cartoon characters for Dacapo Productions, she fronts Fun-key Ducks, the funkiest kids band in Winnipeg.

    As an educator, she has more than 20 years experience sharing her passion for performing arts in dance, musical theatre, and drama at many schools and studios in Winnipeg.

  • A seasoned educator, Dave’s teaching and instructing career has spanned more than 30 years as a high school teacher, martial arts instructor, private math and science tutor, and an epic outdoor skills program instructor.

    Dave helps communities come together around outdoor / survival skills and deepening their preparedness to face the challenges of a changing world. He has a special heart for enriching the experiences of homeschooling communities through his unique skill set, and for building family connections and epic memories!

  • Marcia is a passionate and energetic dance and fitness instructor who specializes in creating fun, engaging, and age-appropriate routines for kids. With a deep love for movement and a commitment to helping young people develop healthy habits, she inspires children to stay active while having a blast.

    Combining her expertise in dance and fitness, Marcia crafts workouts that are both exciting and effective. She believes in making fitness feel like play, using the power of rhythm, music, and creativity to help kids build strength, coordination, and self-confidence. Her classes are designed to keep children moving, having fun, and expressing themselves through dance, movement, and sport.

Heather Wickstrom | Junior / Youth Gym Games

  • Heather Wickstrom is a mother of five and a homeschooling enthusiast. She loves to teach and gather community, always looking for opportunities to help people connect. As the MACHS Winnipeg Regional Representative, you’ll see her name pop-up in all sorts of places. Heather enjoys games, being active, and spending time with family.
